INTRODUCTION
Flynn Guenther is a junior at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, California, where he is a starter on the varsity water polo team. In 2024, Mira Costa won the CIF-Socal Division 2 Championship, was the runner-up in the CIF-SS Division 1 Championship and Bay League Champions. Flynn is a three-year varsity player at Mira Costa and a member of the 18U Cardinal team for Trojan Water Polo Club. His 16U teams finished eighth place and sixth place in the platinum division at the National Junior Olympics in 2024 and 2023, respectively. Flynn will be competing with the Coastal Youth Red team at the ODP National Championships in 2025. Flynn played on the ODP Cadet Coastal Red teams in 2024 and 2023, where his team earned medals at the ODP National Championships in Chicago and San Antonio. From this, Flynn was selected to join the United States Cadet Futures Team in Budapest, Hungary in August 2024. Flynn has been playing club water polo since he was eight years old.
